Grooming​

Dog Lodging

There are three kennel options available for your dog: the Cabin, the Lodge, and the Bed and Breakfast (B&B). Our Cabins and Lodges may accommodate multiple dogs, from the same family, that will not fight over food, treats, or toys. We will separate dogs, for their safety, if we find it necessary. Upon request, we will separate dogs at mealtimes.
  • Dishes are provided so your pet's bowls will not be lost or forgotten.
  • Beds and blankets can be supplied at no additional cost—however, if your dog damages a bed, you are financially responsible—or, you can choose to bring your pet's own bed from home.
  • A few toys, that don't pose a choking hazard, can be brought along to keep them occupied. Rawhides and nylabones are welcome but will be removed at the end of the day for safety reasons.
The Cabin
  • Do you want the best for your companion? Any caring pet owner would. So why not stay in our finest and most luxurious accommodations available for your pet? Have your companion stay in any one of three special Cabins-complete with a TV and DVD player to stimulate your pet’s mind as well as keep them care - free for hours. Every dog staying in a cabin receives a daily playtime with a caring counselor to keep them healthy. For dogs who may not enjoy running around, petting and brushing is always an option, too. Your pet will receive the best of care when staying in our deluxe cabins, even their very own bed!
The Lodge
  • Sturdy and secure, the Lodge is roomy and comfortable with solid walls for safety and privacy. Each Lodge has a raised resting platform and a drain below each to keep your pet dry in case of an overturned water dish.
  • Approximately 5’x5’ — can house a maximum two dogs, from the same family

​Cat Condos
A secluded room for our feline friends offers peace and quiet from the normally noisy kennels. Supervised time outside of their condo is available the play with some toys, climb the scratching post, or to sit and enjoy attention and cuddle with a counselor.
  • ​Feel free to bring a blanket and toys that don't pose a choking hazard for them to enjoy during their stay. Familiar scents will help keep your pet at ease and stress free.
  • If your cat gets stressed when away from home, you can purchase a Feliway spray or diffuser sold here at the clinic. Ask us for a brochure and free sample.
  • Litter boxes and dishes for food and water are provided.

The Bed & Breakfast
  • For dogs under 20pounds, the Bed and Breakfast is a cozy and comfortable
    space for your small companion. Safe and secure, the Bed and Breakfast's solid walls allow for privacy, yet is still open enough to be roomy. Bring your own bed or we can supply one for your pet. We always want to make sure your companion stays stress free, treats or toys may help make the transition easier on your pet.

​Boarding Requirements
  • ALL DOGS ARE REQUIRED TO BE UP TO DATE ON: DHLPP/DHPP (annual 7 in 1), Bordetella, Rabies, CIV (Canine Influenza), and an annual fecal test AS WELL AS being on a flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative.
  • ALL CATS MUST BE UP TO DATE ON: PRC (distemper complex), Felv (feline Leukemia) Rabies, and an annual fecal test.​​

Grooming

​Grooming is important for a clean canine and to prevent serious health concerns including matting and skin infections. Routine nail trims prevent overgrown nails that can lead to curling, splitting, infected paw pads, and cause overall discomfort. Dogs of every size, breed, age, and coat type should be groomed on a regular basis.

Grooming time and price varies depending on each pet’s unique size, coat, and personality.
Grooming includes:
  • Bath
  • Protein enriched shampoo
  • Moisturizing conditioner
  • Blueberry facial
  • Haircut (If applicable)
  • Brush-out
  • Nail trim with clippers or dremel
  • Ear cleaning
  • Inner ear hair plucking
Requirements: All dogs must be up-to-date with the Rabies, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza vaccines. We are happy to schedule an appointment to update these at the same time of your pet's grooming appointment.
