Puppy Class

The emphasis of this course is on socialization and the behavior problems that all puppy families have to deal with.

This class is a 6-week course and is approximately 50 minutes long.
It is offered on various days and times so please refer to the 2013 Training Class Schedule for more information.
Classes can fill up fast. Please call the clinic at 414-425-2340 to reserve your place today.

The cost of the course is $125 and is designed for puppies 8 weeks to 5 months old.

Puppy class

At this class we will introduce the basic commands such as:

- sit
- down
- come
- stand
- walk nice

We will also teach the puppy how to walk on a loose leash as well as a few tricks and games, such as "rollover".

Other issues which will be addressed include:

- digging
- barking
- jumping
- house training
- crate training

The trainer will also answer any questions you have regarding your puppy's behavior.

Puppies socializing

The puppies are also given some off leash time to socialize with the other puppies and their humans. Lack of socialization during the months of early development leads to some dogs being fearful of unfamiliar people, dogs, and various situations. Fear in puppies is often exhibited in adult dogs as excessive barking, anxiety, hyperactivity and aggression.
