Memorial Information

Our clinic’s goal is prevention.
Giving our clients peace of mind, when bringing their pets to our clinic, is our top priority.

To minimize your pet’s exposure to the flu virus, coughing pets will be treated in a separate room with its own entrance and air supply.

Treating a sick patient in this manner will lessen our other patient’s exposure to the virus.

Patients that are suspected of having the flu, kennel cough, or any other communicable disease, and their owners, will not be in the reception area.

After the patient has left, this room is then thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.

Cathy R. - Doggie Day Camp/Boarding Manager

Cathy, Bugsy & Ernie

I started my career working in veterinary clinics as a veterinary assistant in 1993. Since then I have worked as a technician, bookkeeper, office manager, practice manager and hospital manager.

In March of 2013 I left my hospital manager position after 19 years looking for something with less stress and more time to spend with my family. I found Forest Home Animal Clinic, in June of 2013, while looking for a nice place to board my two dogs for an upcoming vacation. Well, I found so much more. I found a new position as the Boarding/Doggie Day Camp manager, as well as a wonderful place to board my dogs. Dr. Rieser, Donna, and all of the staff here are friendly andeveryone is treated like part of the Rieser family. My dream job has always included finding a beautiful clinic with caring doctors and staff and boy, did I find it here!

On a personal side, I am married to my wonderful husband, Lee. I have a daughter, Heather, who lives in Durham, North Carolina, a son, Tim and his wife Sara who live in Muskego with their two sons, Oscar and Sam.

My “furry” kids are Bugsy and Ernie, two Buggs (Boston Terrier/Pug mixes). My “feathered” kid is Spaz, a 25 year old Congo African Gray parrot that I have raised since she was 10 weeks old. My interests include, reading, gardening, cooking, NASCAR (yes, I’m a redneck), and decorating cakes in my spare time.
